From central course material to change that sticks
E.ON introduced Copperleaf to assess and prioritise investments in its plants and power grid. The central training material was classroom-based and built on train the trainer — a poor fit for the Nordic organisation. We rebuilt the programme from scratch as blended learning: workshops, e-learning and briefings, focused on the whole change journey rather than the tool alone. Manager involvement became a core part, and corporate language was replaced by a more honest, conversational tone — including short podcast episodes where colleagues spoke with and for each other.
- Early-adopter task force tested material continuously
- Three project team members trained as course editors
- New structure and templates for all e-learning content
